What is WHOLE Health?

Over the last few years I've had what some might call an awakening in regards to health.  Partially due to my own personal journey, but also due to health issues within my family.

I've decided I want to have not only a long lifespan but also a long healthspan.  What does that mean?

It means we make the choices in our teens, twenties, thirties, forties, and beyond so that we age in a way that allows us to maintain our cognition and movement.  Because isn't that what all of us want as we move through life?!?!  We want to have brains that function wholly and bodies that allow us to play as we want.

WHOLE health is not as much about a set of rules as it is a path to travel.  One where you discover what makes you, as an individual, thrive.

WHOLE health means eating, moving, sleeping, and thinking in the ways that keep you energetic, disease-free, and reaching your goals.

For me right now at 42, it means I am able to get out and jump on the trampoline with my kids, ice skate on a beautiful Saturday, or run around the yard playing tag.  It means keeping my brain sharp to learn new skills and continue to access information in my memory from 20 years ago.

What about you?  Are you in need of some guidance in working on your healthspan?  If not you, maybe your children or family?
